Drizzled this over my morning oatmeal and the chili kick sneaks up right after the honey sweetness, which is exactly the balance I wanted. The syrup form makes it way easier to control portions than the regular bottle.
It pours more slowly than regular honey, which I actually like for controlling the amount. The chili heat creeps in after a second or two and doesn’t overpower the pure honey taste. Solid for drizzling over breakfast, though I wish the bottle had a narrower tip for neater drizzling.
The heat level is just right for drizzling over fried chicken, not too sweet and not too spicy. I do wish the bottle had a narrower tip though, because I over-poured twice trying to get a thin stream. Otherwise it’s become my go-to for weekend breakfast biscuits.
